Mental Health Therapy in New York
Specializing in anxiety, relationship concerns, and insomnia
You Don’t Have to Keep Pushing Through
If you're feeling overwhelmed by constant worry, struggling in your relationships, or lying awake night after night unable to sleep—you're not alone.
Life doesn’t come with a manual, and sometimes we find ourselves stuck in patterns that leave us exhausted, disconnected, and unsure of how to move forward. Maybe you’re constantly overthinking, feeling on edge, or second-guessing everything you say and do. Or maybe your relationships have become a source of stress instead of support, and you’re feeling distant from the people you care about. On top of that, sleep may be elusive—making it even harder to face the day ahead.
If any of this resonates, you're in the right place. And I'm really glad you're here.

Hi, I’m Rebekah Balch, and I’m Here to Help.
I’m a Licensed Therapist based in Rochester, NY, and I specialize in helping adults navigate anxiety, relationship concerns, and insomnia. With a gentle, collaborative approach, I provide a supportive space where you can feel safe to explore what’s going on beneath the surface—and begin to heal.
Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you. You are not broken. My role is to walk alongside you, help you make sense of your experiences, and support you in creating meaningful change in your life—on your terms.
My Areas of Focus
Anxiety & Overthinking
Do you feel stuck in your own mind—constantly second-guessing, overanalyzing, and worrying about the “what ifs”? Anxiety can be exhausting and isolating, but it doesn’t have to control your life. In therapy, we’ll work on identifying triggers, calming the nervous system, and building skills to manage stress so you can feel more grounded and in control.
Relationship Struggles
Relationships are essential to our well-being, yet they can also be a source of confusion and pain. Whether you're feeling disconnected from your partner, dealing with trust issues, or struggling with boundaries, therapy can help you better understand your needs and communicate more effectively. Together, we’ll explore how your relationship patterns were shaped and how to shift them to create deeper, healthier connections.
Insomnia & Sleep Issues
When sleep isn’t coming easily, everything else feels harder. I help clients identify the emotional and behavioral patterns that may be interfering with rest and teach practical, research-backed strategies to improve sleep quality. Whether it’s racing thoughts at night, tossing and turning, or waking up feeling just as tired as when you went to bed—we’ll get to the root of it and create a plan that works for you.
What Working Together Looks Like
Therapy with me is a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are. I believe healing happens through connection—and that means feeling truly heard and understood.
We’ll move at your pace. You’ll never be pushed to share more than you’re comfortable with. Whether you're brand new to therapy or returning after some time away, I’ll meet you where you are.
Sessions are available in-person at my Rochester office or virtually throughout New York State. My goal is to make therapy as accessible and supportive as possible.
You Don’t Have to Navigate This Alone
It takes courage to ask for help—especially when you’ve been carrying so much on your own. Therapy can be the place where you lay those burdens down, reflect, and begin to rebuild a life that feels more balanced, connected, and restful.
Imagine waking up feeling more at ease, more in control, and more connected—to yourself and the people around you. It’s possible, and I’d be honored to support you on that journey.
Let’s Take the First Step Together
You don’t need to have everything figured out to get started. If you’re curious about therapy or wondering if we might be a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can talk about what you're looking for and how I can help.
